It has started to rain since Monday 11 o'clock and it hasn't stopped since. Yesterday I barely made it to work, today it was impossible. By the lack of response when I call aforementioned work, I think more people are in my dilemma.

I didn't have any electricity yesterday at the place I was taking care of, so you can imagine how well I slept. Here is a hint: I didn't. I don't know if the lack of electricity was due to the weather or because an entire substation burned out on Monday, leaving the twice aforementioned work without electricity.

It's been a weird, weird week so far. Today my mom was planning on going to Colombia to visit my uncle, but to be quite honest we're not sure how we are going to get to the airport.

I want the rain to stop, damnit. It was supposed to stop today. St. Maarten, Saba and the rest, this storm has a HELL OF A LOT OF WATER. I know it's only an eyeless cat 1 hurricane, but good God, it feels like it wants to drown us in rain.
